Family of Five (Part II)

A word as to the education of the heart. We don’t believe that this can be imparted through books; it can only be imparted through the loving touch of the teacher.
— Cesar Chavez

Who could be better than the parents, right? I really love doing this session, parents and kids bonding over something that they love doing together. I strongly believe if we could nurture the children from the start, they will grow up loving to read and seek for knowledge as much as we do, though I know the challenges kids have these days such as TV and Internet. But if we could spend hours daily reading newspaper, couldn’t we do the same with our kids? This is the QUALITY time that we all really need today. I know it’s easier said than being done but Insya-Allah, with the right guidance and strong determination this can be done by each of us as parents. Starting from today I’ve promised myself to at least buy a book each for Alia and Amelyn every month. I know for sure Alia would be jumping with joy when she read this.

Anyway peeps, have a great and productive weekend! Oh ya, it’s school holiday too, happy holidays (to some it maybe the start of months of torments, hehehe!) So it’s probably a good idea after all to check out the library. *winks*

To those who are interested in doing the same sessions with their kids, do PM me ya for more details.

KC – the Kids Photographer

I really like the way it sounds!

Oh ya, by the way we are featured on Creative Genius Printable’s blog last Wednesday. What a great honor, thanks to my very talented friend; Zatul Saliza who happens to be the creative mind behind CGP. If you are wondering what CGP is all about, you should check her blog. She could do almost anything from birthday banner to cupcake toppers! Simply a great way to liven up your birthday parties anytime, don’t you think?

And I just think she is one genius, creative soul who can whip up any adorable designs in no time (hence the name) and I admire her for that! So peeps, if your kids’ birthday is coming up soon, why don’t you check out her blog for more great ideas to make everything special for your little one’s big day celebration! πŸ™‚

Aiza Amia : Project 365

Having a newborn brings out the bestΒ (sometimes it can be crappy too) in you. And yes, I absolutely love waking up to the smell of a baby. Knowing she’s mine bring new meaning to my life. And I’m determined to make full use of this one whole year photo project with my baby Mia, as I didn’t have the chance to do it with my Alia and Amelyn. This time I’ll make sure I’ll be there when she learns to smile, crawl and walk…..Mia, this is a project for both of us, so hang in there with mummy ya….:)

And it starts from….

It can be the moment she wakes up…

after her morning bath..

or even when she’s not up to it…

You can do it too with your kids, I promise you that a picture a day will brighten your whole day!
Oh ya, I may not publish some of Mia’s photos here but at least I know I have her first 365 days covered. πŸ˜‰

Introducing Aiza Amia

It has been quite a while since my last update, and yes I’m glad to say that I’m officially off the “pantang” period!
And it’s time to kick-start the business again.

By the way, our latest bundle of joy is already 48 days, and she brings so much joy and happiness to our world.
She currently is the little one in the family so she’s totally pampered; just like her name Amia which means beloved.
I’m just blessed to be waking up every morning to her beautiful face.

Welcome to the world, Angel!

If one feels the need of something grand, something infinite, something that makes one feel aware of God, one need not go far to find it. I think that I see something deeper, more infinite, more eternal than the ocean in the expression of the eyes of a little baby when it wakes in the morning and coos or laughs because it sees the sun shining on its cradle.

Salam Ramadhan to all our readers, such a grand month to celebrate as Muslims.
And here’s another grand reason for us at thelittleBIGshots to celebrate, it’s our latest bundle of joy who finally decided to make her appearance on the 15th August 2010, 10.30 am, weighing at 3.77 kg.
It’s finally official now, we are on a break until 1st October.
Should there be any inquiries, feel free to email us @ thelittlebigshots@gmail.com ya.
